AN AT HOME EXPERIMENT
"Being passionate about education and the importance of early childhood development, I ensured that both my children had a stimulating home life incorporating fine-motor and gross-motor development. I realised that incorporating fun sport based and ball skilled activities into their daily life was essential in providing a balanced lifestyle and was a successful tool for expending young energy and discipline."
I SAW MY CHILDREN EXCEL
"I strongly believe that it was these Early Childhood activities and all-round development which led to my children’s successful adulthood ethics and healthy outlook on life.
Both my children went on to excel in their chosen sports once they began their formal schooling. My son represented his schools – Highbury Prep and Westville Boys High in 1st Team Soccer, Cricket, Hockey and Rugby and represented Kwa-Zulu Natal in Soccer for many years. My daughter went on to represent KZN, South Africa and Great Britain.
A FOUNDATION FOR ACTIV8
Since both parents are more 'cerebral' in nature and with no 'genetic' evidence of superior athleticism, I have determined that early childhood principals can FUNDAMENTALLY change a child's development.
Active8 Coaching incorporates both old fashioned ideologies of action based play with the latest modern principals of early childhood development.
